Jessie scrolls. What she finds is a chat thread where Ethan has spent 43 texts telling his buddies what he thinks of her. Candy’s blurb doesn’t have her storm off or tell her daughter. Instead she asks him to back each line up.
That reversal is the hook. Ethan’s private bragging was never supposed to reach its subject, and now the person he wrote about holds the evidence. All three are adults, and the days off keep the household packed together, the girlfriend always within a few doors.
The friends who received those texts never appear in the description. They’re the audience Ethan was performing for, and the joke of the setup is that the wrong reader got to the thread first. Forty-three messages also rules out any excuse about a single bad joke; Jessie has a whole record to quote back at him, and the break gives her days, not hours, to do it.

Part 1 is short, a little over a minute, and most of what we noted belongs to Jessie. Robed in emerald satin in the cottage lounge, she thumbs down through the boyfriend’s chat, so the opener is built around the discovery itself.
Her daughter wanders across in loungewear, briefs plus a tank top, a reminder that she’s in the house the whole time. There’s also a shower moment, but all you get is a silhouette behind frosted glass, too blurred to make out who it is.
Our notes from part 1 don’t include whatever Jessie asks of Ethan. For that you’d need the later parts, which we haven’t seen. As a first episode it’s atmosphere first: the house, the robe, the phone and someone always within earshot.
Nudity in My Girlfriend’s Mom Read My Texts: what part 1 shows, what’s still unknown
In part 1, none. The most revealing moments are that emerald robe, the green lingerie it briefly shows, and a person in the shower that the glass reduces to a shape. Nothing is uncovered on screen.
